Project Description
Construction of a 57m diameter in-ground combined sewer overflow tank including structural works for the future operations building, pump station and diversion chamber that are attached to the tank. 1800mm concrete outfall pipe and river outfall structure are also included. Tank construction entails a 60m diameter cofferdam with 24m long sheet piles, excavation of over 30,000m3 and 6,000m3 of concrete with antiflotation anchors.
